Q2 2024 Tycoon Games Performance on iOS in France: Sensor Tower Report

In the second quarter of 2024, France's iOS platform saw intriguing performance trends among the top five tycoon games. Sensor Tower offers a closer look at these developments.

Township by Playrix, displayed a steady revenue with peaks reaching approximately $59K in late May and mid-June. Downloads experienced a mid-quarter surge, peaking at around 30K in the third week of April, but then followed a downward trend, concluding the quarter with nearly 15K downloads. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, with numbers hovering around 50K.

Hay Day from Supercell, showed a revenue high of over $54K at the start of April but saw a noticeable drop in the following weeks. The game's downloads remained consistent, averaging around 5K per week. The weekly active users started strong at 206K but saw a gradual decline, ending the quarter with just under 197K active users.

Family Island — Farming game by Melsoft, had a revenue that fluctuated, starting at approximately $42K and dipping to around $27K towards the end of June. The game's downloads and active users both showed a downward trend throughout the quarter, with the latter dropping from approximately 19K to 11K.

Last Fortress: Underground from IM30, presented a varied revenue pattern, with highs reaching over $17K. Downloads started at 1.5K and saw a peak of over 1.5K in late May. Weekly active users saw a slight increase towards the end of May but generally trended downwards, closing the quarter at around 5.5K.

SimCity BuildIt by Electronic Arts, experienced its revenue peak at over $20K at the end of April, with a slight resurgence at the end of June. Downloads showed an upward trend in the last week of June, hitting 3.5K. Active users demonstrated a mid-quarter spike at over 36K but ended the quarter at roughly 31K.
